1:1 Breathwork Healing Sessions

What is Breathwork?

The breath is our gateway to the body and the nervous system and is a profound tool to create change and well-being in our lives.

Breathwork supports what diet and nutrition alone can’t touch - our inner landscape, our emotions and our nervous system, all of which influence our health in big ways.

The process of consciously altering the breath can help unwind tension patterns and the everyday stressors of life, release energetic blocks in the body, and bring us into deeper connection with our bodies and hearts.

The result can be more physical energy and vitality, mental clarity, energetic balance, and psychological wellbeing. Clients also report improved sleep, improved circulation, improved digestion, reduction in worry or anxiety, and increased capacity for self-love and self-compassion.

Like my client Whitney said “I feel like I went on a 3 week vacation and came back completely refreshed in the span of 1 hour!”

What to Expect

This 75-minute virtual session is an opportunity for you to share about what’s present in your life, mind, body and spirit, and receive support and guidance. Through active listening and coaching we will discover areas of opportunity for growth and uncover what needs care, healing, love and attention. I will guide you in an active Breathwork technique for about 30 minutes that helps supports the release of energetic blocks, tension, and unconscious patterns. There will be a rest period where you will find rejuvenation and deep relaxation and then space to share or ask questions before we complete the session.

Book a Session

While active Breathwork is of value to anyone interested in healing, it can bring up physical and emotional reactions and is not a one size-fits-all approach. Breathwork may not be indicated for those who have severe hypertension, epilepsy, bipolar disorders or schizophrenia, or recent major surgeries. If you have questions about the safety of Breathwork and your medical conditions please speak with your doctor or care provider for clarity.

What are the origins of this breathwork technique?

I have been trained in a 3-part breathwork technique by my teacher David Elliot here in California. He does not name or patent the technique as it belongs to everyone. This breathwork technique can go by many names such as conscious connected breath or shamatic breath.

The history of breathwork is rooted in ancient cultures and spiritual traditions, with different forms of breathwork being practiced in various parts of the world for thousands of years. One of the earliest forms of breathwork can be traced back to the ancient Indian practice of Pranayama.

I am so grateful for my teachers and their teachers who have continued to pass this wisdom and the gift of breathwork along to us.

How do I prepare for a breathwork session?

Once you book a session I will share everything you need to know! In general, you just need a quiet, uninterrupted space where you can lay down and experience the session.

Healing Groups

Breathwork healing groups are offered virtually and in person, and are an opportunity to heal and gather in community. The collective energy of the group amplifies the healing in the container as we come together around specific intentions and themes.
